Land use plan
The playground of Featherlite Pottery Town Govt. High School, which was owned by BBMP, was acquired for the metro construction. The choice of site was based on the underlying principles of acquiring minimal private land and causing the least disturbance to properties by acquiring government land wherever possible. In this process, a preference for open land was key and and a prerequisite was to cause minimum disturbance to people, ecology and biodiversity.
